At Regeneras, we believe that businesses are a powerful force for regeneration—for
people and the planet alike. As part of our commitment to the global movement of
purpose-driven enterprise, we hereby adopt the following statements consistent with B
Lab’s legal requirements for purpose and stakeholder governance:
Purpose clause
The purpose of Regeneras is to contribute to the evolution of organizations by
accompanying and facilitating their transition to business models: economically
profitable, socially committed and environmentally regenerative.
Through our purpose we seek to deliver value and returns to its Regeneras’ owner(s)
while having an overall positive impact on society, people and the environment.
Stakeholder clause
a. In making decisions, the Director(s) of Regeneras will consider stakeholders in their
decision making. That means to include in their consideration the following factors:
i. the likely consequences of any decision or act in the short and long term;
ii. the interests of Regeneras’ employees (if hired);
iii. the need to foster the Regeneras’ business relationships with suppliers,
customers and others;
iv. the impact of the Regeneras’ operations on the community and the local and
global environment;
v. the desirability of Regeneras maintaining a reputation for high standards of
business conduct;
vi. the interests of the funder; and
vii. the ability of Regeneras to create an overall positive impact on society and the
environment.
b. The founder need not give priority to a particular factor referred to in paragraph
(a) over any other factor (included in paragraph (a) or otherwise).
By publishing this statement, the founder of Regeneras, Valeria Schiavello,
commits to embedding stakeholder governance and social & environmental
purpose into every decision and action. We recognise that we are
interdependent with our community, our clients, our suppliers, our team and the
natural systems we inhabit. We commit to transparency, professional ethic, continuous
improvement and contribution to a regenerative economy.
